It's Thursday? Already?

I can't believe it's Thursday. Where the hell did the week go, and what do I have to show for it?

I've got the Gong Show finals this weekend and I am freaking nervous as hell. I'm going up against several really good comics, a midget, a fire eater and a juggler. It's like going to a circus! But I hate clowns. Best of luck to everyone who's competing. It will be fun, and, um, interesting.

Good open mic at West End last nite. Thanks to Sherry Bell for hosting, she did a great job! And I just love that southern accent of hers. It went well, much better than Scooter's. I'm still pissed about that. Yay for me, I can hold a grudge!

So I was sober last nite, and Laura and Angela were drinking. That was weird, like a complete reversal of the universe and all things normal. Well, ok, I wasn't sober the whole nite. But I've never seen either of them go on stage after a few drinks, and I have to say it was quite a treat.

Everyone should go see Paul tonite (www.paulvarghese.com), he's headlining at the Addison Improv. Come see him before he gets famous and forgets our names.

I'm anticipating having no time to blog tomorrow, so I'll plug the Friday nite show at the West End today. This week is looking good, come out and support your local comics! If we keep this up, we'll all be following in Paul's footsteps. Here's the lineup:
