Job Update
As of August 5th, I am unemployed. Sucks to be me. Knew it was coming. Doesn't make it any better. This is not the summer of Jenn.
On the bright side....
dammit, I can't think of one today. I'll try harder.
Ok, I have a bright side....I just found out that they're opening an IKEA in Frisco. That makes me a little happier. I love that place. Has nothing to do with getting a job, I know. But it's a cool store!

My company is, I guess, downsizing, so I'm laid off. I should have known something was up when they started taking the furniture. Hahahaha.
I will enjoy my vacation, I just wish they could have made it effective today! I have so much to do this week. Unemployment, here I come!
sorry to hear that Jenn. Now you can pay your alcohol tab with unemployment checks like the rest of the comics.

Jobs are way overrated...well, the money thing kicks ass, but the rest of it just plain sucks.
Look at it like this, you could have been employed as a "fluffer" in the porn industry and gotten laid off...cause you couldn't keep em up with the rest of them...
That sucks. I hope you get unemployment money for awhile.
I'm still cool with being a reference - which you can't say about ALL your friends :-) although they might make the person checking references wet their panties from laughter... Something that I can't do...
Thanks for your kind words, folks. But it's fine really. I can shop at IKEA while visiting Sarah in Ohio as I apply for a job as a fluffer and jump out my window of opportunity. :)

Yep, it's real. Bowling for Soup, local guys. I love that song too. They mention my favorite DJ in the song too. Yay Jessie!
