Will tell jokes for beer

I had the pleasure of performing at the Delta lodge last nite in Denton. My first time ever in a frat house, and I had a blast! Five comics, including yours truly, performed for these guys. I was a little nervous because the crowd was so young, but now that I think about it, my humor is pretty young too. Doesn’t even have it’s drivers license yet. Freeloading sense of humor.

Bryce had told us that it was an ‘independent’ fraternity. As in, they have a house, they live near campus, but are not affiliated with the university. Think “Old School”. The guy in charge had to be at least 30, I swear. But what a fun night! There was even a band! Ok, well, there was really just this one dude, Joe Tucker, and he’s a one man band of sorts. He did country-ish versions of Radiohead, Sublime and The Cars, just to name a few. It was amusing.

I’m quite certain that Evan and I were the oldest two people in the room. The dirty jokes went well. Stuff about the teenager, not so much. Evan says I didn’t sell it. He’s right. But the end result?

Frat boys love me.
